heh, też tak myślałem, ale poszperałem i proszę, oto co Phelps mówi w wywiadzie:
IGN Sports: You're 6' 4", about 200 pounds. Is your physique all from swimming, or do you hit the weights?
Michael Phelps: I've never lifted a single weight in my life. It's all from training in the water, period. That's not to say I wouldn't lift in the future, but now, no.
IGN Sports: What about your diet? Are you always eating super healthy?
Michael Phelps: I eat pretty much whatever I want. I don't have a strict diet. It's all about cramming in as many calories into my system as I possibly can. To be honest with you, I have a tough time keeping weight on.

Dla zwykłego czytalnika tych portali to wydaje sie normalne ale dla kogos myslącego nie, przecież gdyby zjadał tyle to by miał wy.je.bany brzuch nie chodzi mi o tłuszcz ale rozciągniecie żołądka itp zobaczcie kulturystów z wyższych klas ile jedzą i jak mają wdęte brzuch nie przez tłuszcz poprostu przez wielkie objętosciowo posiłki. Ludzie pracujący cięzko fizycznie po 12 godzin tyle nie jedzą. Dali by 6000 kalori to bym jeszcze sie przychylił ale bez przesady

no ja też słyszałem że wydęty bebzon to raczej kwestia koksu aniżeli dużych (objętościowo) posiłków. Tu jeszcze co jakiś konował mówi o tej "diecie":

So it really does take some planning. Some resources on the Web might help, such as this calorie-use chart from the American Heart Association and a calorie calculator from Runner’s World magazine. This calculator from the Calorie Control Council includes a bunch of different activities, from dusting to playing ice hockey.
But these kinds of calculators don’t really apply to a someone like Phelps, who exercises way more vigorously than the typical person, says Kathleen Laquale, an athletic trainer and nutritionist who teaches at Bridgewater State College in Massachusetts. Even by athletic standards, Phelps is in his own league. Laquale says cyclists in the Tour de France commonly consume a paltry 8,000 to 10,000 calories a day."

Taaa, ale ty mądry. Myslisz ze da sie zbudować taką wydolnośc organizmu na sucho? Pewnie ze nie. Przedwczoraj chyba pobił swój rekord świata z przed 3miesięcy o 3sekundy, taki progres jest nierealny.
