The World’s Strongest Man
will be held in Malta this year

Situated in the heart of the Mediterranean, Malta offers not only a great location for this year's WSM competition, but is rich in history and culture, so promises to be a great host country.

Just a few hours flying time away from most European cities, and therefore easily accessible from anywhere in the world, the Maltese Islands offer an exhilarating contrast of colours: the azure of the Mediterranean, the mellow honey-coloured limestone which characterises the architecture, and clear skies. The Islands are a feast for the senses.

Qualifying rounds will be held between 26th and 29th of September, with the Finals being held from the 1st to 3rd of October. We’ve got a few more surprises to give you about this year’s event, with a few ‘firsts’ for The World’s Strongest Man.

btw coraz rzadziej kule sa na polskich zawodach co nie ?

Ciekawe czy IFSA pozwoli Savickasowi występować w WSM. Mi się wydawało ze zawodnicy z jednej federacji mają "bana" na drugą i na odwrót - jak to jest ?
Co do Mariusza w tym roku walka z Nejmanem = na pewno spadki masy, ciężko będzie wygrać jak nigdy.

Mam nadzieję ze Mariusz odzyska formę do WSM i pokona Savickas'a tak jak w 2002 i 2003 roku na WSM.

Przecież juz pisałem na 1 stronie ze Savickas startuje i jest na liscie WSM 2009.Przy okazji IFSY juz nie ma, jest za to Strongman Champions League. Pudzian w tym roku bedzie przygotowany jak nigdy.Chyba nie myslicie ze bedzie startował na WSM z wagą 120 kg ;)Z najmanem ma walke w grudniu i na pewno nie jest to jego priorytet w tym roku.
