Robi się w tym celu różne 'opakowania' - liposomy etc., oczywiście podbija to cenę, a czy również skuteczność? to tylko kobiety mogą wiedzieć, bo do nich adresowane są te cudeńka do face-liftingu

Ephedrine/
caffeine increase the number of fat loss receptors in cells.
Supplements that contain ephedra/caffeine, are thought to be “non-selective” beta-receptor stimulators (agonists). They stimulate beta-1, 2 and 3 receptors to varying degrees.
Stimulation of the beta-2-adrenoceptors increases bronchiodialation in the lungs. However, activating the beta-3- adrenoceptors is thought to be the key to fat loss as these adrenoceptors are the selective for fat metabolism.
For years, scientists have been trying to develop a selective beta-3-agonist – a supplement or drug that stimulates only beta-3-adrenoceptors. So far, no adrenoceptor agonist has progressed beyond phase II clinical trials. This is mainly because the beta-3-adrenoceptor in humans is difficult to determine and its role in metabolism is difficult to confirm.
Just recently, Italian scientists have made a very significant breakthrough in fat loss research. Using immunohistochemistry coupled with light microscopy techniques, these scientists have identified the beta-3-adrenoceptor in the fat cells of lean and obese humans. These scientists have discovered that lean subjects possess more of these fat-burning receptors than obese individuals.
However, even more fascinating was that after a four week treatment period with an ephedrine/caffeine supplement, the obese subjects showed an increase in the number of fat burning (beta-3) receptors to the numbers seen in lean people. The ephedrine/caffeine use increased the number of fat burning receptors in the fat cells of overweight people to the same numbers seen in lean people.
More clinical data from this study on body composition, resting energy expenditure and lipid metabolism will be published soon. However, the researchers gave a sneak preview of these results, commenting that treatment with ephedra/caffeine showed a more pronounced thermogenic and lipolytic effect overall when combined with calorie restriction as compared to dieting without using these compounds.
In 2002, a six-month study of overweight people showed safety and effectiveness of the ephedra/caffeine supplement for fat loss. The ephedra/caffeine/willow bark combination really is the most scientifically substantiated, effective fat loss combination available to people today. In this research, the finding that ephedrine/caffeine use can actually increase the number of fat burning receptors in human fat cells is truly amazing.
