According to the media Crocop's manager has arranged two more fights for this year. October 30th Mirko will fight Josh Barnett and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira on December 31st.

Może Barnett po tej przerwie spowodowanej kontuzją nie powinien od razu walczyć z Crocopem ? Może najpierw rewanż z Pedro Rizzo ? A co do ewentualnej walki Crocop vs Kharitonov to stawiam na Filipovica.

Jarząbek ma rację. Jest na sherdogu wywiad w którym Mirko mówi, że ma dość.
Ale sądze, że poprostu teraz chce troszkę odpocząć (w ostatnim czasie miał kupę pracy i stresu), a póżniej pewnie weźmie się za Barnetta, Noga i resztę...

CroCop: 'At this very moment I am sick of ultimate fighting'

After he didn´t manage to capture the Pride FC title Mirko 'CroCop' Filipović said how he lost energy after the round one, and also how he made a mistake that he wanted to end a first round in atrctive way with high kick while he had Fedor stunned by a serie of punches and beacause of it he slipped and Fedor got a grip of himself.

'I made a mistake, I should have continued with punches, he was literally k.o.-ed standing. But the I got carried away in a moment and I wanted to end a fight in atractive way. However I slipped. It was my big chance.'

Mirko seemed to be the dominant fighter in the round one, getting out the better edge on punches exchanging and doing more damage, but then something happened that even Mirko himself could not understand.

'I simply lost it. At the end of the round one I was fresher than him, but after the 2 minute break between the rounds I barely managed to get out of the corner chait. Do not ask me why because I don´t know the answer myself. For me it´s a big mistery' – explained CroCop adding that the he passed the control training (which is more exhausting than the match itself) without any problems at all. I was so tired that I even wanted the fight on the ground, where Fedor couldn´t really do much to me. True he was in dominant position, what finnaly prevailed in judges eyes, but I didn´t sustained any damage from his punches.' – says Mirko while adding:

'It is a weak confort. He received few very strong shaking blows, while at the same time I can´t say that I did as well from his side. However I have no problem with judge decision, it was all correct, Fedor deserved to remain the champion.'

'I hope I will get more chances. If not, it doesn´t matter at all, I will not die because of it. Ultimate fighting is just a sport, true a brutal one, but just a sport' – said disapointed CroCop and concluded:

'I am diaspointed, sad and very tired. At this very moment I am sick of ultimate fighting. I want to go home as soon as possible, grab my son and go run in to the wood. Also I would like to thank my supporters who came all the way to Japan to support, as well to those who were shaking in front of their TVs. Thanks to all.'

Widziałem w życiu wiele rzeczy: tsunami, wojne w Iraku, wybory nowego papieża itp. Myślałem że widziałem juz wszystko...Dopóki nie zobaczyłem KroKopa próbującego dusić trójkątem . Ej serio byłem w szoku, on naprawdę chwytał się brzytwy w tej walce.A najśmieszniej by było jakby dociągnął to duszenie, choć sporo brakowało,ale... Narobiłby wstydu Nogowi hehehe.Poza tym walka emocjonujaca, wynik sprawiedliwy.

Narazie to Fedor narobil wstydu Mirkowi tym ze byl lepszy w stojce.
