Serkan "The Turkish Wonder Kicker/The Turkish Samurai" Yilmaz of Turkey, is probably the only WTF (Olympic Style) Tae Kwon Do fighter in K-1 today. He's a former Turkish champion of WTF TKD, a recent champion of the A-1 Istanbul World Combat Cup, and a K-1 World Max Finalist. Anyone who doubts the effectiveness of Tae Kwon Do in a kickboxing ring, should watch Serkan Yilmaz in action. He's a powerful and aggressive fighter, and can kick as fast as some fighters punch. Known for his devestating back kick techniques, he's one of the few fighters in K-1 that isn't afraid to take risks in the ring.
