When I am saying about details I am not talking about how many cenimeters fingers should eye jab. I mean that simple or simplicity in JKD does not mean easy That's is right that in JKD the most important thing is to intercept as it is the way of intercepting fist. But it is not excluding the fact that JKD has very own structure. When I said about scientific approach I didn't mean the details how to put your fingers, but that Bruce based JKD on laws of phisics, kinetics. Bruce was paying a lot attention to the details as he was perfectionist. And if we are talking about sparring: Bruce once said that footwork is the key to defeat any attack.

Kenjiro I think that you don't even no who is Ted Wong exectly?? Becouse if you would have known the history and true facts then it would be obvious for you that Dan Inosanto couldn't promote Ted Wong to teach JKD as Ted Wong was learning directly and only from Bruce Lee. And he has spent far more hours with training with Bruce than anyone of other students.

As a matter of bringing more facts, Bruce never mentioned in his notes which describes JKD, about 4 ranges of combat like punching, kicking, trapping and grappling. All that Bruce said is that in JKD there are 3 ranges: long, medium, short. Could you answer me from where did you get those 4 ranges in JKD concepts??

"I dont see anything wrong with the concepts unless You know basic rules of JKD and You know the "old" material. Seeking Your way and selfdevelopement is good, in my opinion..."

I have not personally trained with Rick young, but he is a very Good martial artist from everything i have read and seen him on DVD. It is a fact that you need to perform a task 6000 times before your body learns a new skill. And then I am not counting the first 10 000 that you have not yeat "learned" to do the technique properly People say "practice makes perfecyt". No, if you practice the wrong things perfectly you will perform the wrong thing perfectly.

This is why Bruce Lee stressed simplicity and daily decresae. If you look at many instructors in Martial arts they claim that they are instructors and masters in many different styles. In Jun fan thinking I would say, have they really mastered those styles, made then "no style", "no technique"! for 4 years I trained the Concepts approach with larry Hartsell, Rick tuchi etc. and researched everything on instructinal video, book and magazines abouts the Concepts way of thinking JKD. By my JKD thinking there were too many styles, too many techniques, for too long. There was no simplicity, there was no daily decrease. I didn´t see how I would be able to train every technique 6000 times, to make everything I was learnin to become "no style", "no technique"

Maybe I am not dedicated enough i don´t know. all i know is that with The jun fan JKD approach I have found what i was looking in JKD. This is what i am no sharing with everyone, this is my contribution to Jeet Kune do. this is how I perform the basic principles of JKD. Not just "kowing" the old material, but perfecting the old material as my own selfdevelopment. That is what JKD is all about, and I found it in Jun fan JKD. JUN fan JKD is my own JKD based upon Bruce lee´s principles, not only my own style based upon my own truth and naming it JKD like many do.

W.A Tim and Bob knows Ted that for sure but their JKD is not the same becouse as Ted Wongs. They were under Dan Inosanto Bob in Jun Fan Gung Fu school and Tim in Kali school. Ted Wong was last private student of Bruce Lee who was thought by Bruce the last developments of JKD. I am not saying that learning from Tim Tackett or Bob Bremer is waste of time. I am just telling that Ted Wongs JKD in my opinnion ( and not only mine) is the closest to that which Bruce Lee was doing. And I am not annonim Kenjiro I have introduced to you my martial arts experience and who is guiding me in JKD way.

Yes, You are unless You write Your full name, training time in JKD. You only wrote, You start with Ted Wong - so I understand it was ONE seminar, and than You went to train to Norway for FOUR days. Is this all? This is Your training time? One week of instruction?
Am I wrong?

Not Norway but Sweden. What I would like to add is this I don't see myself as an instructor. I am just sharing with my knowledge. Stefan Nikander is the one who is authorised and the one who is my JKD brother. I have trained martial arts before JKD but to do JKD right you have to empty your cup and fill it with the knowledge form the beginnig.
