“How in the hell could a man enjoy being awakened at 8:30 a.m. by an alarm clock, leap out of bed, dress, force-feed, shit, piss, brush teeth and hair, and fight traffic to get to a place where essentially you made lots of money for somebody else and were asked to be grateful for the opportunity to do so? ”

Its not difficult to me to read or write, almost every day I'm reading some articles/publications (most of them about strenght training : www.charlespoliquin.com), but when comes to talking, things are getting worse - stammering, pronunciaton like a potato etc. Its caused by lack of practice - I'm talking with foreigners only during students carnival.

It is all the same for all people in the world. Always one of the language skills will be lagging behind. For some it is writing (like for me) for some it is speaking, for some reading. Most of the time you will find out that in your native language one of those skills was also less developed then others. It doesn't mean you should abandon it and give up it just mean you will need more work to make get it to decent level while your other skills might be improving efortlessly.

check this forum: http://how-to-learn-any-language.com/e/index.html you got some people there who can speak like 15 languages and they sharing their stories how did they achieved that. Basically courses are ok if you have plenty of time but those days it is much more efficient to learn on your own. There are designed websites out there to find yourself language buddies so you can have sessions 1 to 1 on skype with native language speaker for free, in exchange they will expect you to teach them your native language. Also there are websites where you can publish your writing and they will check it for free so role of teacher is basically what? Check your writing and speak with you, hover if there is 10 ppl in class that means in 2 hours maybe 10% of teacher time is focused on that, rest is useless grammar and listening to other students which means LISTENING TO MISTAKES as all foreigners do some. Not very efficient is it?

software for graphs? Either excel or matlab but matlab sucks :D I hate it :D Matlab is more like programming, it is of course professional scientific software but who gives a shit :D I want to do things easy so Excel rocks.
For things that I need to memorize I use Anki software, it was very useful to learn grammar and pronunciation as it allows recording and I could make whole sentence that was read to me and then I recored myself. It made it so much easier then cramming single words which were then impossible to use without context.

http://www.antimoon.com/how/usingsm-makeitems.htm dobry post tylko nie uzywaj supermemo jak poelcaja , kryptoreklama kolegow, poslki program ktory jest tak dziadowski jak jego tworcy, i tak komunistyczny jak zsrr, powanzie anki jest lepszy, nie stracisz bazy bo jest synchronizacja z serwerem i dizala nawet na telefonach.
Just don't use supermemo as they recommend, they advertise it because author of this software it their friend, it is a polish software that is as useless as it's author and people who recommend it and as communist as Soviet Russia, seriously Anki is so much better and you won't lose your database and progress (as it happend to me with supermemo) as it is synchronized with server. Also Anki does works on mobile devices, tablets, Mac etc.

my tutors want me to use pro software, so I'm using sigmaplot. At some labs I'm forced to to draw graphs with pencil, its f***ed up - I'm feeling like a third world country student
added to favorites, I'll check it up on weekend, thanks.
