Pride Fighting Championships: How do you feel now that you've defeated Nastula, a man who's been called the strongest in Europe?
Alexander: It was an honor to be able to fight Nastula. My strategy was to grapple with him on the ground because I wanted to prove that Russian sambo is stronger than judo.



Pride: You're on a winning streak. Do you think you're going to have to start thinking about fighting your brother?
Alexander: I think I will fight my brother in the Grand Prix, after his hand is healed. I've fought him 3 times before in sambo matches. I think that the time for us to fight in PRIDE has finally arrived.

Pride Fighting Championships: Do you want a rematch with Arona?
Fedor: I haven't received an offer from Arona yet and I haven't made one either but I'm always ready to fight.



Pride: That was an overwhelming win. Were you planning on flying in like that?
Fedor: I was motivated when I watched Alexander's fight and I intended to fly in from the beginning.
Pride: How is your right hand?
Fedor: Actually, I hurt it in this fight again. I will have surgery on it at the end of January. I won't be able to draw big drawings like I like to do but I want to fight in the Grand Prix.
Pride: When did you create your new team?
Fedor: We don't have a new team but we are gathering new, young fighters. I don't know when we will become a team but I will think about it in the New Year.
Pride: How were you previous 3 fights with Alexander in sambo?
Fedor: I won but I took a lot of Alexander's throws and punches. That was 2 years ago so I don't know what would happen if we fought now. I won in sambo by submissions.

Pride Fighting Championships: You took a lot of hits. Do you have any damage now?
Zulu: I don't really have any injuries and very little damage, just a little swelling where I was hit.
Pride: Were you conscious in the end?
Zulu: I was conscious.
Pride: Did you feel that you could still fight?
Zulu: Yes, I thought so. I have been training for this but my luck was bad.

Pride: Did you expect Fedor to come out in the beginning like that?
Zulu: I expected him to come out quickly and I had thought of strategies for that, but he came out faster that I anticipated. I want to get revenge next time.

Pride: Jak czujesz się po tym, jak pokonałeś Nastulę - człowieka nazywanego najsilniejszym w Europie ?

Pride: Jakie były twoje poprzednie 3 walki z Alexandrem, które rozegraliście w sambo ?
Fedor: Wygrałem, ale zebrałem też dużo rzutów i uderzeń od Alexandra. To było 2 lata temu i nie wiem co by się działo gdybyśmy walczyli teraz. W sambo wygrałem przez poddania.

Pride: Zebrałeś dużo trafień. Masz jakieś urazy ?
Zulu: Raczej nie mam żadnych urazów tylko drobne uszkodzenia, tylko mały obrzęk w miejscu gdzie zostałem trafiony.
Pride: Byłeś przytomny na końcu ?
Zulu: Byłem przytomny.
Pride: Czułeś, że mógłbyś walczyć dalej ?
Zulu: Tak, tak czułem. Dużo przygotowywałęm się do tej walki, ale nie miałem szczęścia.
Pride: Czy przypuszczałeś, że Fedor rozpocznie aż tak ostro ?
Zulu: Spodziewałem się, że zacznie szybko i wymyśliłem wiele strategii na tą okoliczność, ale on zaatakował szybciej niż przewidziałem.
Następnym razem chcę otrzymać rewanż.
Pride: Czy twój ojciec coś mówił ?
Zulu: Ojciec powiedział mi, że nawet najwięksi wojownicy czasem przegrywają. Nie bedę się załamywać i będę trenował do następnej walki. Chcę być pewny, że kolejna walka będzie miała dobry wynik.
Pride: Jaki masz plan odnośnie tej walki ?
Zulu: Największy nacisk położę na udeżenia i przewiduję zakończyć walkę przez KO.
Pride: Masz nadzieję na występ w przyszłorocznym Grand Prix ?

Aleks sprytnie odwraca kota ogonem. Akurat chciał walczyć w parterze...
Moim zdaniem chciał w poniżający sposób znokautować Pawła (zachowanie Aleksa na początku walki). To Nastek sprytnie spowadził walkę do parteru dwa razy i Emelianenko zmuszony był tam porządni się wysilić. Teraz robi kryptoreklamę sambo :( To silny i groźny zawodnik, ale nie lubię go :(

Wanderlei Silva: It was much better than the last time, because of the support of my team. This victory today was an important victory in my record.
Pride: Technically, what was better than the last time?
Silva: I was able to avoid takedowns and I think my punches were better than in the last fight. I believe Chute Boxe is the best academy in the world so I’m able to train with an incredible team.
Pride: Was it easier to fight in this match with three rounds, rather than the tournament format?
Silva: Regarding the Grand Prix, I think it would have ended differently if I had one more round. I wanted to continue being the Champion, so I think I fought this fight well. I’m glad that I won.

Silva: I knew I won all three rounds.
Pride: Who did you work on wrestling and jujitsu with for this match?
Silva: I worked on wrestling with coach Fabio and jujitsu with Nino, and sparring with Ninja and Shogun. Chute Boxe has great fighters so I think I will continue to be able to fight well. Ninja is dropping weight and I think he will be able to fight for the 83kg belt in the future.
Pride: After Shogun won recently, there were stories that you said you would let Shogun win if you had to fight him.
Silva: That’s not true. We didn’t talk about the Final Round. Shogun has fought hard opponents. I want to keep fighting with him, having good fights together and doing our best together.
Pride: Is the story that you and Shogun bet a dog on a fight between you and that you won the fight and the dog?
Silva: That dog is still in my house. We were half-joking but we bet Shogun’s dog so it would be good training. The result was exactly as you said.
